Indeed, this is either a good photoshop render or real. The car itself is based on the Thesis, a luxury sedan produced by Torino automaker Lancia. The car it is based on is a front wheel drive, front engine car, unfortunately, but Lancia also has a history of innovation. Currently owned by the FIAT group, it is struggling for identity because it's in the same position with the FIAT group as Buick is with GM, attempting to be an entry level luxury make when already positioned below entry level luxury make Alfa Romeo and luxury make Maserati, and being given mostly Fiat rebadges. Lancia is fairly well known for their elegant, advanced, cars such as the Flavia, a full-sized, front wheel drive sedan powered, as many Lancias have been, by a flat four. Other notable Lancia models include the compact Fulvia of the late sixties and early seventies, the brilliant-performing all wheel drive, flat four powered Delta HV Integrale of the 80s and 90s, and of course the original homologation special, the Dino-powered, Bertone penned Stratos.
